Undercurrent will perform original compositions as well as fresh takes on the standard jazz repertoire.

Colin McAllister serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His performances have been hailed as ‘sparkling...delivered superbly’ (San Francisco Chronicle), ‘ravishing’ (San Diego Union Tribune) and ‘an amazing tour de force’ (San Diego Story), and he has recorded on the Summit, Innova, Centaur, Naxos, Albany, Old King Cole, Vienna Modern Masters, Carrier and Tzadik labels. 

Adam Ohlson is a pianist, composer, and arranger who holds a BA in piano performance and composition from Whitworth University, and an M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. Adam currently plays piano for the US Air Force Academy Band where he composes and arranges regularly. His love for many genres is evident in his music, reflecting a wide range of influences including Gustav Mahler, Rachmaninoff, Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny, Maria Schneider, and Alexander Silvestri.
