Paula Vogel’s Indecent is a play about a play! It follows the true story of a group of Jewish actors, traveling the world performing Sholem Asch’s iconic work about the love between two women, God of Vengeance. The troupe enjoys smashing success until they arrive on Broadway, at which point they are arrested for indecency. Shockingly relevant, Indecent is beautifully lyric work, rich in history, humor, and song.
