Overview
Cats
In 1981 at the New London Theatre, a musical based on a little poem by T.S. Eliot, changed the theatre world. Cats played there for twenty-one years and became the definition of a mega-musical. From Mister Mistoffelees, to the Jellicle Ball to the plaintive call of Memory, the Andrew Lloyd Webber epic shattered all Broadway records, as well. For good reason. Cats is far more than just a whimsical tale about alley cats. It’s a human story of love, pain, growth, aging, and redemption. And the music is pure magic.
This show is performed by students in the Theatre & Dance department here at UCCS and will be a main-stage production in the Dusy Loo Bon Vivant Theatre.
